About Us

The CSU Fresno Emeriti and Retirees Association (ERA), is an affiliate of the statewide CSU Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff Association (ERFSA), whose primary function is to protect our CalPERS retiree benefits. Since 1985, ERFSA has served the interests of approximately 2,500 current members, all of whom are retirees of the CSU system.  

A Fresno member of ERFSA is automatically a member of our group.  We do not charge local membership dues. Most of our funding is provided by ERFSA in the form of a 15% rebate of the dues it receives from our campus members.  We also receive support from our local offices of Faculty Affairs and University Development.  

We host two luncheons a year at no cost to members, and produce a very fine local newsletter, Connections. We encourage our members to participate in serving our campus in appropriate ways, and keep our members informed via e-mail about any major developments of immediate concern.
