Staff Assembly Committees
The Bold Ideas Challenge calls on the campus community to submit ideas to: improve services to students, teaching or learning or fix an efficient process. Since the initiative launched in 2014, over 375 Bold Ideas have been submitted. Committee members help review the submission.
This is an administrative committee, whose primary function is to assist the University president in the coordination, development and maintenance of short- and long-range plans for the campus.
The goal of the committee is to invest in a dynamic environment to attract, develop and retain talented and diverse faculty and staff.

Homecoming is a campus tradition that occurs each fall in celebration of Fresno State students, faculty, staff and alumni. Subcommittees include the office decorating committee, pawrade committee, homecoming and Red Friday.
Convocation is a time to celebrate the excitement of the new academic year and welcome new freshman and transfer students to campus. Committee members engage with Student Involvement in planning activities for the event.
The President's Medal of Distinction was established in 1993 and is presented to citizens of the region, state or nation whose contribution in the area of professional achievements or public service represents a contribution of great significance to the University. Committee members play an important role in the nomination and selection process.
