The Staff Assembly Executive Committee (SAEC) is looking for individuals who would like to get involved on campus!

Through the SAEC, members have an opportunity for campus community engagement, networking, and to support the campus by sharing their many talents. Our primary purpose is to provide a vehicle for staff engagement and involvement with various activities throughout the year. The SAEC is a committee created to bring the campus community together and is supported by the President’s office. 

Here's more information about our committee:

  • Represented by up to 24 staff members from various offices and colleges across campus
  • Various positions: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Coordinator, Donations Coordinator, and others; as well as at-large voting members
  • Plan and assist in executing various activities and events on campus
  • Two-year terms, unless otherwise noted by the Chair
  • Members are required to attend the monthly meeting; all other hours are based on need and department approval
  • Average time commitment is two to ten hours per month, with your supervisor’s support and approval required to be appointed. (Up to 40 work hours annually for Community Engagement is a benefit for stateside employees.)

Facebook Event Sharing and Co-Hosting

Fresno State Staff Assembly Executive Committee (SAEC) would love to help you publicize your Fresno State and/or Community Events for the Fresno State community.

What is Co-Hosting?

Facebook allows interested parties to add events to their page (not personal accounts) as a co-host. When you invite SAEC to co-host, we get a notification of your event. We can then easily add it to our calendar and, if it is a special event, we can work with you to add it to our official Fresno State SAEC Facebook page.

  1. Log into the Facebook page from which you wish to share or co-host, making sure you Like the Fresno State Staff Assembly Facebook page.
  2. Create the event and fill in the form details.
  3. Make sure your have Liked the Fresno State Staff Assembly. On the Event form, in the co-host field, search for the Fresno State Staff Assembly, and select our page.
  4. Review the form and publish when ready.
